Sim Card Connectors

The SIM connector is designed to meet changing market needs for smaller, lighter memory cards in consumer electronics. We manufacture standard, micro, and micro/SIM SD card connectors that offer high-speed data transfer rates. Available in a variety of design and packaging options, including top and bottom mounting configurations, this connector is designed for easy use, with push/push and push/pull mating.

M.2 Connectors

This type of connector is engineered for high Signal Integrity (SI) on printed circuit boards (PCBs). With a small design to increase PCB real estate, our card edge connectors provide performance reliability and design flexibility for the latest PCIe protocol solutions. The product portfolio consists of right angle, surface mount sockets with 52 contacts (for express mini card) or 76 contacts (for display mini card). Latches are available for selected heights. Some of the products in the category can support multiple function add-in cards and modules, including WiFi, Bluetooth, global navigation satellite systems, near field communication, and Wireless Gigabit Alliance (WiGig).

Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) Connectors

As the market trends towards miniaturization, FPC connectors have been developed to meet the challenges of this expanding market, which demands smaller centerline or pitch spacing, lower profile heights, and lighter interconnect solutions. TE's FPC solutions are reliable interconnects that use an actuator to secure the cable termination, and are field terminatable (require no tooling) and are available in centerline spacing of 0.25mm, 0.3mm, 0.5mm, 1.0mm, and 1.25mm, and incorporate a low profile height and light-weight features.

Micro Coax Connectors

Our RF coax connectors are engineered and are available in small sizes, with tight tolerance electrical characteristics, and in materials that are rugged but not heavy and manufactured to withstand high use in harsh environments. These connectors are manufactured with crimp, solder, and clamp terminations to enable easy installation.

AMP CT Connectors

Spring Fingers & Pogo Pins

In high-speed computing, our backplane connectors help enable the backbone of data center architectures and rugged embedded computing systems. On a PCB in mobile and wearable devices, as well as in patient monitoring technology and security systems, our spring fingers can perform multiple functions: designed as a single contact, surface mountable internal connector, our simple C types are used for antenna feeds and low voltage electrical connections, and our multiple pre-loaded spring fingers are used on the board to provide shielding for preventing EMI noise and static.

Board Level Shielding

With the growing demand for thinner devices with multiple antennas, higher data rates, and increased operating frequencies, modern mobile devices require better solutions for reducing or limiting the effect of electromagnetic interference (EMI). Board level shields from TE are stamped one-piece and two-piece metal cages that help provide isolation of board level components, minimize crosstalk, and reduce EMI susceptibility, all without impacting system speed.

Wire-To-Board Connectors

High Performance Interconnect 1.5mm Headers are the male header in the 1.5mm High Performance Interconnect product family. They are available with 2 to 15 positions, a vertical or right angle orientation, SMT mount style and mate with a female receptacle housing. High Performance Interconnects can be used across several industries including Business & Retail Equipment, Industrial, Consumer Devices and Medical. Common applications for High Performance Interconnects are copiers, printers, appliances, industrial controls, laptops, game consoles and medical monitors.
